1. Important information and who we are

We are looking for a Corporate Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in leading and managing M&A transactions from start to finish. In this position, you will oversee all aspects of the M&A process, including identifying target opportunities, negotiating terms, performing due diligence, and reviewing transaction documentation. You will be instrumental in shaping the M&A strategy, focusing on priorities, targets, and new opportunities for growth. This will involve assessing potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures, as well as evaluating new business opportunities in various sectors.

Your responsibilities will also include conducting detailed research, preparing presentations, and collaborating with regional colleagues to assess new market opportunities and entry strategies. You will be responsible for conducting company research, investment analysis, financial modelling, and valuations. Additionally, you will act as the main point of contact for existing investment companies, monitoring performance against business plans and strategic goals. This role will also require preparing internal investment proposals, board presentations, and M&A updates.

A key part of the role will be managing the M&A Analyst, providing support in the review of internal approval documents and financial models. The ideal candidate will have significant M&A experience, with a proven track record in managing deals from start to finish. You should have a strong background in corporate finance or investment banking, preferably within an M&A role in industry, and possess advanced Excel and analytical skills. You should be comfortable working in a competitive, fast-paced environment and have the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.

About the role

To maintain the high standard of work we’re known for, we’re looking for a motivated and skilled Corporate Finance Manager to join our growing team.

You’ll have:

  • A strong academic background with a degree in finance, economics, or a related field, ideally with further professional qualifications.

  • Proven experience in corporate finance or M&A, with a demonstrated ability to manage and execute transactions from start to finish.

  • Strong analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modelling, data analysis, and valuation.

  • A deep understanding of business strategy, with the ability to assess and advise on growth opportunities and risk management.

  • Exceptional organisational skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to collaborate with senior stakeholders and build long-term relationships.

  • A proactive, deal-oriented mindset, with a genuine enthusiasm for M&A and helping clients navigate complex business challenges.

Bonus skills and traits:

  • Experience in preparing detailed financial reports, business plans, and transaction documentation.

  • Exposure to working directly with clients and senior management teams, providing strategic advice throughout the deal lifecycle.

  • A passion for continuously developing your skills and staying informed on the latest trends and best practices in M&A and corporate finance.

Skills and experience

We want you to feel a true sense of ownership, reflected not just in your work but also in your salary and perks.

  • Top-notch equipment: Whether it’s computers, monitors, desks, chairs, or peripherals like headphones, keyboards, or webcams, we’ll provide the tools you need to excel in your role.

  • Work-life balance: We believe the best work happens when you have time to step away and enjoy your life outside of work.

  • Flexibility: Take control of your schedule with flexible vacation and work hours. We prioritize outcomes over outdated conventions.

  • Parental leave: Comprehensive leave for all parents growing their families, regardless of gender.

  • Family support: Lifetime maximum benefits for family forming and fertility treatments.

  • Health coverage: Excellent health, dental, and vision insurance to keep you and your family well.

  • An inspiring team: Join a culture that values authenticity, humility, and excellence. We want your voice to shape our culture and your work to leave a lasting impact.
