For most owners, selling the company they built is the most consequential financial decision of their working life - years of work, judgement and personal risk concentrated into a single transaction. Acquiring one is the same decision from the other side. We exist for that moment, and bring to it the rigour and candour it deserves.
Founded in Oxford, we advise founders, shareholders and management teams across the UK. M&A is the only thing we do, and every engagement is run by the senior team from first conversation to completion.
Ours is a human-led, technology-enabled practice. The work that determines value happens long before a deal reaches the market - a defensible valuation, a sharpened story, a clear read on which buyers will move. AI makes the analysis faster and more rigorous. The judgement, the writing and the negotiation are (and will remain) human.
We speak plainly. We tell clients what we think a business is worth, who is likely to buy it, and where our view differs from theirs - early, and with reasons. Clients hire us for what we think, not for what they want to hear.
The thread through our work is technical and regulated businesses with narrow buyer universes - engineering consultancy, testing and compliance, specialist distribution, critical infrastructure. These are sectors where the right buyer is rarely the obvious one, and where a generic process leaves money on the table. Defence and security is where we are deliberately building.
